Camping ENG
A beautiful campsite in central Portugal
Despite the vastness of the estate, the campsite is small-scale and people-friendly. The peace and quiet and the laid-back interaction, to which everyone will attest, make camping at the Quinta da Cerca a pleasant experience. The natural surroundings are accentuated by the absence of man-made barriers or artificial light. Cleanliness of all sanitation and the pool is a prime concern for the owners.
Pitches in the shade or the sun
You can pick a pitch for your tent, trailer tent or camper van in the olive grove. It is surrounded by wooded terraces and there is lots of shade under the old olive trees. However, campers are free to choose a spot with more sun and a better view.
Electricity and the Sanitary Facilities
There are spacious pitches for 10 to 15 tents and there are several electricity connections (2 A).
The modern sanitary facilities are in a central location. Hot water is free. The facilities live up to all modern standards.
Caravans and mobile homes
… generally do not fit under the low-hanging branches of the olive grove. There are five levelled pitches on constructed plateaus near our own caravans. There is electricity up to 2 A available. Due to the incline of the terrain, the estate is not as accessible for large caravans.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner
You can order fresh bread rolls every day and once a week there is sourdough rye bread available, traditionally baked in a wood-fired oven. Campers can also join for a plentiful breakfast and are encouraged to sign up for the joint evening meal, a unique experience!
